joseph is home for the holidays and it was the perfect time to get some engagement pictures taken! we’ve had warm beautiful weather {despite it being december!} and what is better than it being warm out?!

fast forward to today…the temperature dropped to 48º and it’s been raining pouring for three or four days prior to our session.

despite the overcast skies and the threat of rain, we decided to get these done before joseph has to return to north carolina where he is stationed.

kaleigh said they had everything taken care of {location & outfits}…except for posing! she said they would need some help in that department. after spending a few minutes explaining that no one is a pro and this isn’t something you do everyday, they relaxed.

we explored together and had a great time! they introduced me to some great spots for pictures and we just laughed and hung out! it was very low key.

i must give joseph full credit for these images turning out so beautiful. he is so sweet to kaleigh and just brings out the warmest most beautiful part of her! i knew kaleigh since she was three, she is my best friends cousin. i met joseph for the first time today. i am impressed! guys don’t typically spend 2 hours taking pictures without complaining, but joseph made it fun and loved getting to love on kaleigh 😉
