the other day i went out on a styled shoot. {here’s the final gallery!!!}
long story short, i calibrated my lenses that morning {bad idea, i know}…and i totally rushed it and messed it up.
75% of my shots were not tack sharp – which drove me crazy! so we reshot it!
it was much more relaxed and we had everything exactly how we wanted it this time!!!
we went for a lighter and less dramatic edit this time… 🙂 just to keep things a little different!
we went for big, voluptuous, messy tousled hair for this take…i curled it with a curling wand from nume and then pinned the top portion up so it could cool. then we teased everything at the crown for volume…added in a flexible hold hairspray and tousled all of it after deciding where to part her hair.
her makeup was so much more dramatic this go around…i started with her eyes, we worked in a warm tawny brownish red shadow in the crease, with a softer brown to blow out the lines to help soften the look. we added in a deep, shimmery purple for the outer v of her eye and then i lined her top lash line with a sparkly medium brown liquid eyeliner. we finished her eyes with demi wispie lashes and mascara. i used airbrush foundation and blush on her as well. and we topped the whole look off with some bronzer for contouring! i think it looks amazing on her 🙂
