katie and i grew up together.

when i say we grew up together…i mean we were together as often as possible! i was 9 years old when i first met katie. her and her family were looking at the house across the street in our brand new neighborhood. i mean brand spankin new….we were the only people that lived there at the time! seeing another human, not to mention, one my age…was mind boggling!

i went over, introduced myself shyly with my parents and brothers and when katie and her family moved into their house, we were inseparable!

as young girls we would sit in the trees {yes, we climbed!} and talk about boys, music, food, etc. we talked about what we wanted in life and things we wanted to someday accomplish!

i remember katie always talking about being a mommy one day. she comes from a large family {she has 5 siblings…} and it is all she knows.

i know when she met her husband zach, her dreams were made a reality because of noah! she adores noah. and you can tell noah adores her.

she has two very special men in her life and now she will have a very special girl coming in two weeks!!!

i cannot wait to meet piper…two weeks is too long!

thank you for always being there for me whenever i needed you. i hate that we’ve not seen each other much over the past 4 years or so…but i want to change that!

we need to clear our schedules and make time for us mommy’s! 🙂
