i’ve known selena for a few years. i worked at a cheerleading gym that she was cheering at! i NEVER called her selena though…everyone referred to her as RED.

i loved red. she was a hard worker and she took everything seriously…yes she would goof off, but she always did what was asked of her when it counted.

a lot of people don’t know, but my favorite color is red. i’m secretly envious of all of these natural redheads that i get to photograph. selena’s red hair is beautiful…reminds me of ariel from the little mermaid!!!

i am so glad that i got to re-unite with red and take her senior portraits. we literally shot this boho inspired session until it was too dark to shoot!
