piper was ready for her shoot when i arrived at her home. she was all smiles, wide awake and happy as could be! this little fourth of july baby was only a little over two weeks old when we took her pictures, but boy was she posing for me! i’ve never had a newborn sleep so quietly, almost naked, underneath a ceiling fan that was on!! she’s figured out this Alabama heat, that’s for sure. her big brother, carter, was my little helper for the evening. he helped me lay out blankets, pick out headbands and he even sang to piper when she got a little upset with me for swaddling her again! he is so sweet to his little sister and you can just see how excited he is every chance he gets to hold her and give her kisses! melts my heart!
