it’s summer time right now. but not for long. we will be kissing our beach towels goodbye and we will be replacing them with light weight jackets. no more icee’s…they will soon be mugs of hot cocoa. flips flops will be packed away and the pool chemicals will be back on the shelves of the garage. although it is so sad to see one season end, we get to welcome another! fall is just around the corner. as much as i love the summer, fall is still my favorite time of year. i’m that weird girl that enjoys the smell of burning leaves and the sound of the wind whipping through the trees. my heart belongs at the beach but fall is one of my loves as well 🙂

when fall rolls around, things will get busy here. we will have to start holiday prepping. we are very busy around the holidays. all of our family lives around here, so festivities are planned for every weekend from halloween to christmas. i’ll have weddings, elopements, engagements and new babies to photograph and we will have to clean out toys to make room for all of the new ones walker receives on christmas! so as sad as it is to see this season come to a close…fall is coming! pumpkin spice everything 🙂 i’ll see you soon!
