i said it! heirloom albums literally changed my business!

i hear photographers complain all the time about clients not printing their wedding photos. we are in the digital age. everyone wants digitals so they can share them online, because let’s face it…that is where they’re going to get seen the most!

most brides want something in addition to their wedding collection. when brides invest in wedding services, there needs to be a tangible product that they can walk away with!!! i have found that heirloom albums are the best way to make sure my brides see their gorgeous imagery in print!

i strive to have beautiful albums in every single one of my bride’s hands. in 2016, i decided to start offering them at a discounted rate to my brides when they booked their collections. at the initial meeting, they don’t realize how badly they need an heirloom album! i show them my sample album and then i go through an entire wedding gallery with them and show them that the album is literally just the highlights of the day!! after seeing it and touching it and feeling the gorgeous covers in linen and leather…they can’t walk away without adding one {sometimes two!} to their wedding collection!

so let’s talk about how it actually changed my business…

as i said before…we live in a digital age! brides are told from everyone… “make sure you get the rights to all of your digital images!”

so naturally, a bride thinks that is all they need from their wedding day. this particular bride is in a certain mindset going into the consultation. they want digital images, whether a CD, USB or online gallery. this isn’t wrong or bad in any way! having those digital images, the possibilities are endless. that’s unlimited opportunities to print and reproduce those memories!!! but they don’t realize that a small scrapbook, is not the best way to display their most memorable day.

but having an heirloom album to look through over and over again, simply cannot be beat.

these heirloom albums are passed down from generation to generation!!!

i still look at my parents and grandparents wedding album from time to time.
