callie and bill got married on a beautiful june day! we’ve had a cooler than normal summer and by cooler i mean, not 1,000º out! the humidity wasn’t that bad either. when i arrived at the venue, callie and her bridesmaids were already getting ready. callie was nervously checking the weather because there was a “chance” of sprinkles that morning. the sprinkles held off though and we were able to enjoy the gorgeous sunshine for our portrait time!

every single part of callie and bill’s day was thought out in the greatest detail. callie wore a broach that her grandmother wore on her wedding day and because callie’s cousin was not able to wear it on her wedding day…callie pinned her cousin for the wedding 🙂 how sweet is that?!

callie and bill’s first look was so sweet! callie literally ran so fast to bill!!! i had them on the back patio of meadow creek for their first look…but that bright sunshine still crept in!

i feel like a lot of the time…the simple ceremonies are my favorite! callie and bill chose to go with traditional vows and they also chose not to do a unity candle or sand. this is okay with me! all of the guests were able to focus on the words they spoke to each other…and that sweet applause once they shared their first kiss as mr. & mrs. smartt!

the reception kicked off with a bang as callie and her dad choreographed their dance! it is always so fun to see the father of the bride get involved and do something so unexpected at a wedding!!! one last hoorah with his little girl 🙂

i’m done talking for now…i will let their gorgeous images speak for themselves. i really tried my hardest to narrow these down… 🙂 i did. really 😉

this little guy decided to jump on Callie’s wedding dress during our portrait time!!! Bill just had to hold him 🙂 his name, is Fred.this was Fred’s first appearance 😉
