i have been looking forward to this day for a long long time! brittney and i are cousins and have grown up together. we’ve always been close, but we’ve gotten even closer over the past few years. she is my sister from another mister…i have a few of those 😉 blake entered the picture while brittney was in high school and anyone would be a fool to think he wouldn’t be around long. brittney put a spell on him and he just couldn’t stay away 😉 these two are one of the cutest, funniest couples and not to mention, pretty decent parents to their freaking adorable son, briggs.

watching these two raise a baby, start their careers and plan a wedding has been exhausting and i honestly don’t know how they’ve managed to do all them at 100%. i’m so proud of them and the hard work that they put into keeping their relationship strong and their child happy and healthy.

i have to give blake props…we’ve been watching the forecast for DAYS! this session had been rescheduled three other times…for reasons i will not fully disclose, but they involve a motorcycle and a foot injury 😉 blake told brittney we may as well wait out the storm and try and shoot in the little break of no rain that we had. it would be the only break for a few days and we were already 3 weeks later on the session than we had hoped to be. so we met up, drove to the only clear space on the weather radar and shot away! we did catch some pretty light, but luckily it wasn’t too sunny…so no squinty eyes! thanks blake, i would’ve rescheduled…but i’m glad we didn’t!
