oh man. i thought about this blog post before even finishing the session. i knew it was going to be a tough one to write! so i’ll do my best without crying all over my keyboard….

elizabeth. my sweet cousin elizabeth. we’ve almost never called her that! she’s always been luci. short for lucifer haha! she was a little fireball when she was born…to say the least 😉 for the longest time…she was the youngest of all of us cousins! until we all started having babies. my niece samantha, at 6, was the kiddo that broke luci from being the youngest. so she was the baby for a long long long time!

i can’t believe that i’m photographing her senior year now. i cried during my cousin’s wedding that i shot, my brother’s wedding and then i cried through editing this session. it’s one thing to go out in a field and take some pretty pictures…but then when you’re actually sitting at the computer, looking back over them….it hits you. she isn’t a baby anymore. she drives. she’s in high school (for now!). she goes to dances. she’s independent. she has a goal for her life.

luci, i can’t wait to see where life takes you. always remember who’s child you are…and remember that you are backed 100,000% by your family in anything you do. we love you!
