after my first meeting with alee, i knew we were going to get along just fine! i love when i get to meet my brides and i know leaving the meeting that we’re going to end up friends! i just adore everything about alee and justin. it was a little hard to remember, walking through the botanical gardens with these two, that i was there to take pictures! we got to talking and strolling through that it was easy to forget why i was there. they’re so easy to talk to and just fun to be around! we met up at the botanical gardens to start their session. we were a little worried at first because it was the chinese lantern festival and there were people everywhere! but it actually worked in our favor…there were some really unique setups at the gardens and everyone was just starting to leave when we arrived!

after our stroll through the gardens and capturing some of the most gorgeous light filled images, we made our way downtown to meet up with their sweet pups! their dogs were so good too! there may have been a little bit of hot dog bribery…but i’m not above bribery for pictures 😉

alee and justin were so easy to work with. being in front of the camera came easy to them and that made my job 1,000% easier! i cannot wait for their november wedding! it is going to be gorgeous!
