when i photographed briana and jake’s engagement session, it was one of the busiest times of my life!!! i was preparing for my second baby to arrive (he would arrive just 4 weeks before their wedding!), and i was getting as many portrait sessions done before my maternity leave as i could! not to mention…it was busy season. if you ever want to be busy, announce maternity leave! ha!

jake and briana brought their sweet pup to my farmhouse to have some fun in the field before pictures. i love when my couples incorporate their babies 🙂

at the time, briana was in nursing school and jake was in the military. briana was a waitress at one of our favorite hometown restaurants (shout out to Oh’Bryans Steakhouse…) and every time we went in, we had to request briana as our server because my oldest son walker, thought she was princess cinderella and he always had to talk to cinderella!

i am so grateful for my sweet couples and the love they have for my kiddos…i don’t just book a bride. we become friends. i am there on the biggest day of their lives, celebrating with them! they need a friend there to capture it all :
