we were in great need of new family portraits! my youngest son just turned two, two days AFTER we took these. over the past 4 months or so he has started noticing when he isn’t in a picture and his brother (bubba) is. he will look and say, “bubba!” and then he’ll say, “baby?”. it broke my heart! so once our red clover started blooming, i started to get excited! we’ve had literally MONTHS of rain here at the farm and i was very glad for the break! not to mention we’ve been quarantined since march 13th. so over a month in quarantine and we finally took pictures. we doubled up and also took some of just knox for his second birthday photos.

also…if you’ve never taken your family’s portraits with the help of a tripod…do it. but wear a fitbit and track those calories you’re burning…because you will be working!
