now that they have sent out their save the dates i can share the gorgeous images we captured for lindsey and jordan back in december! december is a really hard month to shoot portraits because if it’s rained at all, the chances of the sun clearing up the puddles and muck in time is slim to none. but the benefit to shooting in colder months is the beautiful cloudy winter weather that makes such a pretty light come down on your subjects! not to mention the gorgeous golden hue of grass and weeds that have gone untouched for quite a few weeks! this was the case for jordan and lindsey…we were worried about being able to capture their save the date images in time to send them out but lindsey also wanted a spring engagement session. so we devised the plan to do a 10-15 minute shoot now and a full engagement session later on! if i must say so myself, it was brilliant 🙂
