cady and blane!!! congratulations, you’re officially husband and wife! what a special day it was. no bride ever plans on having rain on her wedding day. cady was no exception. although the weather wasn’t the sunshine we were hoping for…she brought her own sunshine with her smile and the smile she put on blane’s face when he saw his bride!

this day was shot entirely indoors with the exception of a covered porch area for the couple’s first look and a few portraits. the rain let up for a little while and we could’ve gone out for portraits, but i agreed 1000% with the bride about not wanting to get the long train on her gorgeous wedding gown wet and dirty.

cady and blane’s wedding was so beautiful, thanks to the awesome stylistic choices of our bride and her amazing event styling team Kim and Cain. this was my first wedding as a lead photographer at quail creek in hartselle alabama and i was very impressed! even though we didn’t get to utilize their outdoor areas, the inside was so beautiful. i’m especially fond of the giant glass window in the chapel, which is where we decided to shoot all of our family portraits as well as the majority of our bride and groom’s couple portraits.
