now that kate is officially married 🙂 i can share her gorgeous Tuscaloosa Fine Art Bridal Session with you all!!!!
photographing a friend is always a pleasure. you get to spend time with them and show them their true beauty! but photographing a sister is even better.
kate is not my biological sister…but a sister through Christ 🙂
when kate approached me to shoot her wedding, it was like finding a long lost sister…literally. if it wasn’t for the age difference, i would think we were separated at birth! kate lives a few hours away from me, so finding each other was a long shot!!! our meeting was completely, 100% a God thing and i am so grateful that he placed my blog in front of kate’s eyes.
kate said the first picture she ever saw of mine, was of a girl in a flower crown! she said she immediately fell in love and needed to see more! she hopped onto my website and read my story and how my business is my ministry and she said she knew i was the photographer for her and steven’s Christ filled wedding day! they base their relationship on their love for Jesus and the love that He shows us…he placed the other in each others lives at the exact moment they both needed each other and they are forever grateful to Him!
kate’s love for Jesus is so apparent from the very first moment you hear her voice. our first conversation was over the phone and she spilled her heart about her love for missions and her love for showing the love of Christ! my heart was so giddy talking with this sweet girl and i just knew i wanted to serve her on her wedding day.
kate’s style is very boho, laid back, classic and chic. she has A LOT of gorgeous hair…and she LOVES flower crowns 🙂 it was only fitting to enter into her marriage wearing flowers as a halo!
kate paired her beautiful diamond encrusted jacket {that she found at a thrift store!} with a simple chic ivory bridal gown. i absolutely loved kate’s style!!!
kate,
i love you so much! thank you for allowing me to serve you on your wedding day…and to travel to new places and meet a new family! i pray that the world will always be as sweet to you as you are to the world. i hope you and steven continue to serve Jesus in your selfless ways and continue through your journey together with a loving and caring servants heart! i love you guys!
