i met robin and alex one afternoon for coffee in downtown hartselle at warehouse coffee. robin was interested in my wedding day coverage and after talking for almost two hours, we both decided we were a perfect fit for each other! robin and alex’s excitement over their wedding day carried over the next few days as we planned their engagement session! so only a few weeks after meeting up for coffee, we were again, in downtown hartselle for their engagement session!

watching alex and robin together makes my heart happy! alex was such a trooper, i actually think he enjoyed the pictures 🙂 i told them, this is just you two hanging out for a while, snuggling, walking, talking, etc. i’m just here taking pictures of it all! literally, in the first five minutes, alex took the direction i gave them and immediately put robin at ease! we had so much fun! my favorite part about their engagement session was the look alex gave robin every time i told him to look at his beautiful fiancé. we also got to shoot a lot of film this session 🙂 the weather, although it was hot…was beautiful. we had the most gorgeous golden light!
