i was so excited when brandi emailed me asking to take photos of her and her husband’s vow renewal mass. i have not had the chance to photograph a vow renewal yet 🙂 this family is always full of fun surprises! the kiddos were so tired during the ceremony and blessing of the rings that the only way to wake them up for family portraits was to take them outside! so we went on a little hike over the church grounds. it was a beautiful hike and i am so glad we decided to trek up the small mountain 🙂 the kids had a blast and i was able to sneak in a few photos without irritating them 😉 plus mom and dad got some time to walk alone together without interruptions.

it was a beautiful day too!
