meet one of my old friends lauren, and her family.

you may recognize the blonde cutie from here {she’s my on call model when i get a crazy idea!}

lauren and i grew up together. when we were 9 years old, we would spend hours playing with makeup and curling our hair. definitely girly stuff! our moms were great friends and when they would get together to do crafts or scrapbook we would dart to the bathroom and start glamming it up! fast forward 7 or 8 years…we still wore makeup and liked girly things..but we discovered something new. country boys 🙂 we traded in curling irons and eyelash curlers for deer hunting, big trucks and cowboy boots. i wouldn’t trade it for the world. lauren is the one who introduced me to my husband. i knew who he was growing up, but never really knew him. we went to a biology co-op together but never dated until we were old enough to actually drive and go somewhere! lauren actually went on my first date with me lol! anyways, we go way back.

now i’m married, she’s married…and adria is DRIVING! i seem to remember having to watch a marathon of the wiggles with that kid….

they all came over for family portraits and i am in LOVE with these images…i can’t wait to see these in print.
