sweet sweet katie and bryan!!! i was SO looking forward to their engagement session and they did not disappoint! when i met with katie and her mother for our wedding consultation, katie went on and on about how sweet bryan is…her mother too! every bride gushes over her fiancé, but i have to agree with katie…bryan is pretty awesome 🙂

katie and bryan traveled to my home for their engagement session. bryan brought a little surprise along…but i’m keeping that secret 🙂 i’ll allow the bride and groom to share that later on!!!!

two cars pulled in my driveway…katie and bryan and then a silver car…with…abby!!!! abby is bryan’s chocolate lab. she is full of energy and one of the sweetest dogs ever! so well behaved too. dogs getting portraits…easier said than done. not with abby. she was posing for sure!!!

we started at the pond and moved our way up to the horse pasture…after 5 minutes explaining the posing techniques and guiding bryan and katie…it was obvious that it was going to be a great session. they’re both naturals…and it helps that they kinda like each other 😉

our session took place on daylight savings 🙂 so we lost light quicker, so we met up earlier. but like i said, they’re naturals and i just had to keep shooting! so i had my husband set up my flash and we did a few creative shots as well!!!

i cannot wait to shoot their wedding at the Brick Haven in Cullman next year!!!! everything is going to be GORGEOUS!!!!
